Responsibility
- Lead quality assurance initiatives for AI High-Density Power Modules, ensuring compliance with Renesasâ stringent standards and industry regulations.
- Develop and implement supplier quality management systems, including audits, corrective actions, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in subcontractor processes.
- Drive continuous improvement programs (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to enhance product reliability and reduce defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers, ensuring alignment with technical and quality requirements.
- Monitor and report on supplier KPIs, including defect rates, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance to subcontractors to optimize manufacturing processes and material selection.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing, preferably in semiconductors or power electronics.
- Proven expertise in supplier quality management, including audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and corrective action systems (8D, CAPA).
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and reliability testing for electronic components.
- Experience with AI/ML-powered products or high-density power modules is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Mandarin) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites as needed (up to 20%).
