Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems for industrial and structural steel projects.
- Oversee fabrication, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and plant equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Lead project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, fabrication, or plant maintenance.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
- Strong knowledge of industrial standards (ASME, ISO, API) and local regulations.
- Experience with structural steel, piping systems, and HVAC design is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Project management certification (PMP) or equivalent is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
