Responsibility
- Conduct on-site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical (HVAC, cooling systems) and electrical (power distribution, UPS, generators) infrastructure in hyperscale data centers.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, NEC, local regulations) and project specifications.
- Monitor and analyze energy efficiency, thermal performance, and power usage effectiveness (PUE) to optimize data center operations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, schematics, and documentation for system upgrades, repairs, or expansions.
- Lead emergency response efforts for critical failures, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to restore operations swiftly.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance scalability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Train and mentor local technical staff on best practices for system operation, safety, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Masterâs preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center, industrial, or commercial facility engineering, with a focus on mechanical/electrical systems.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, chilled water systems, power distribution (MV/LV), UPS, switchgear, and backup generators.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems), SCADA, and IoT-based monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEEE, UL) and local Indonesian regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or ETAP for system design and modeling.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); Indonesian language skills are a plus.
