Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring, to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements to restore functionality.
- Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly into projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Document work performed, including installations, repairs, and inspections, for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations in Indonesia or Malaysia.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
