Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate shift operations at the Energy from Waste facility, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Monitor and optimize plant performance, including waste processing, energy generation, and emissions control.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of operators and technicians to maintain high productivity and compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify risks, inefficiencies, or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of operational data, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records.
- Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets.
- Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in waste management, energy from waste, or industrial process operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of EfW technologies, combustion systems, and environmental regulations (e.g., ISO 14001, local Indonesian standards).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLCs, or industrial automation is advantageous.
