Responsibility
- Lead and manage manufacturing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new manufacturing initiatives.
- Oversee the selection and integration of new equipment and technologies to improve production capabilities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading manufacturing projects and process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and other manufacturing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Six Sigma is a plus.
