Responsibility
- Conduct Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections to verify product compliance with specifications and standards.
- Lead Material Review Board (MRB) processes, including defect analysis, root cause investigation, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, defect logs, and process improvement records.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, yield, customer returns) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Support audits (internal and external) by providing accurate data and ensuring compliance with ISO and customer-specific standards.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect prevention strategies.
- Work closely with suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in OQC, MRB, or quality assurance within electronics or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, SPC) and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and quality management software (e.g., Minitab, QMS).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
