Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain renewable energy systems (solar, wind, or hybrid) to enhance facility efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct regular audits of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate smart building technologies and IoT solutions for energy optimization.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and propose data-driven improvements to reduce operational costs.
- Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and compliance with local and international green building certifications (e.g., LEED, EDGE).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide rapid, effective solutions to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Prepare technical reports, budgets, and forecasts for facility management and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field); a focus on renewable energy is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities engineering, with exposure to renewable energy systems or sustainable infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and energy management best practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software, BMS (Building Management Systems), and energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with local and international safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, ISO 50001) and green building standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Certifications in LEED, CMVP, or renewable energy technologies are highly advantageous.
