Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, resource allocation plans, and workflow optimizations to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce quality control procedures, conducting regular audits to maintain product excellence and reduce defects.
- Lead, mentor, and train production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to streamline supply chain processes and reduce lead times.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international manufacturing regulations, including ISO standards and industry-specific certifications.
- Prepare and present performance reports, KPIs, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TQM methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in manufacturing.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
