Responsibility
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in mission-critical data centers.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure 24/7 operational reliability and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Monitor and optimize energy efficiency, reducing operational costs while maintaining performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
- Ensure adherence to local and international safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for equipment, services, and maintenance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing critical electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and cooling systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ISO 27001).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with Bali’s regulatory environment and local infrastructure challenges is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to or be based in Bali, with flexibility for occasional travel.
