Responsibility
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during all phases of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain the operating theatre, including sterilizing instruments, setting up equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, verify patient consent forms, and confirm surgical site markings.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, anesthesia responses, and intra-operative conditions.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as directed by the surgical team.
- Provide post-operative care, including wound management, pain control, and patient education on recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid Nursing License in Indonesia (STR) and SIP (Surat Izin Praktek).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an OT Nurse, with expertise in scrubbing, circulating, and recovery room duties.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and emergency protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international patients and medical teams.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with precision, adaptability, and empathy.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and hospital information systems (HIS).
