Responsibility
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with individual needs, medical orders, and hospital policies.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with medical advancements.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or related fields.
- Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
