Responsibility
- Provide expert nursing care to geriatric patients in an inpatient setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Lead and mentor junior nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in emergency situations, leveraging prior ICU or Oncology experience.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and wellness strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geriatric, ICU, or Oncology nursing.
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in patient assessment and care planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift environment.
- Leadership experience in mentoring or supervising nursing staff.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and best practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
