Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment and technology used in critical care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in ICU nursing.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous improvement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
