Responsibility
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily clinical operations to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement care plans for postpartum mothers and newborns, adhering to medical protocols and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for junior nurses and clinical staff to enhance their skills in maternal and neonatal care.
- Monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and provide emotional support to mothers during the confinement period.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Evaluate and improve nursing practices to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Serve as a resource for new mothers, offering guidance on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maternal and newborn care, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or instructional role.
- Valid nursing license and certification in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) or similar.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate nursing teams.
- Strong knowledge of postpartum care, lactation support, and neonatal health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare compliance standards.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
