The Provincial Government of Catanduanes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer III to join our public health team in the Bicol Region. Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive medical care and treatment to patients in government health facilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor public health programs and initiatives.
- Conduct medical consultations, diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with local health authorities to address community health concerns.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and healthcare workers.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in health education campaigns and community outreach programs.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in public health or government service.
- Strong knowledge of medical ethics, healthcare laws, and public health policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to community needs.
- Experience in program management or public health administration is a plus.
- Willingness to work in rural or remote areas within the Bicol Region.
