Responsibility
- Process and verify pharmacy orders with precision, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and coordinate restocking as needed.
- Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve prescription-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in electronic health systems.
- Prepare and dispatch medication orders while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to streamline pharmacy workflows and improve service efficiency.
- Monitor and report discrepancies in prescriptions or inventory to supervisors.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes in pharmacy services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related healthcare field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy services, healthcare administration, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for effective coordination.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, prescription abbreviations, and dosage calculations.
- Willingness to start immediately and adapt to shifting priorities in a healthcare environment.
