Responsibility
- Administer and monitor anaesthesia and sedation to patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures, adhering to AU nursing protocols.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, including patient history, vital signs, and allergy checks, to ensure safe anaesthesia administration.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during and after anaesthesia, intervening promptly in case of adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of anaesthesia administration, patient responses, and post-operative recovery.
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care, including pain management and recovery expectations.
- Ensure compliance with SNB (Singapore Nursing Board) and Australian healthcare standards in all clinical practices.
- Participate in emergency response teams, providing critical care support in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications
- SNB-registered nurse with a valid license to practice in Singapore or equivalent international certification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse, with specialized training in anaesthesia.
- Proven experience working in Australian healthcare settings or familiarity with AU nursing standards and protocols.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, anaesthesia administration, and post-operative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments while maintaining precision and compassion.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
