Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ATE test solutions for semiconductor devices and AI-focused modules.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to define test strategies and ensure product reliability.
- Optimize test programs for efficiency, coverage, and cost-effectiveness using industry-standard tools (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest).
- Drive continuous improvement in test methodologies, incorporating AI/ML techniques for predictive analytics and defect detection.
- Develop and maintain documentation for test specifications, procedures, and reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in hardware validation and debugging.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in semiconductor testing, ATE technologies, and AI hardware to inform roadmap decisions.
- Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations to enhance product quality and yield.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on ATE test development for semiconductors.
- Proven expertise in test program development (e.g., C/C++, Python, Verilog, or VHDL) and ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest T2000).
- Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal testing, digital logic, and high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR, USB).
- Experience with AI/ML hardware acceleration, neural network processors, or edge AI devices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with JTAG, Boundary Scan, and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex hardware issues under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of leading cross-functional projects.
