Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, and other critical hotel utilities.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards for all engineering operations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front office teams to address guest-reported maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Assist in energy management initiatives to optimize resource usage and reduce operational costs.
- Provide emergency on-call support for urgent engineering issues outside of regular working hours.
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff to uphold best practices in hotel maintenance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel or facility maintenance, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and local building codes in Indonesia.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
