Responsibility
- Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor for furniture designs.
- Create accurate production drawings and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams.
- Program and optimize CNC machining processes using Alphacam to enhance efficiency and precision.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to refine designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct simulations and prototyping to validate designs before full-scale production.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and workflow diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CAD/CAM processes and CNC operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD/CAM technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CAD Drafter or CNC Programmer, preferably in the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and technical drafting.
- Strong expertise in Alphacam for CNC programming and machining.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.
