Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, components, and prototypes to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze system requirements to ensure technical and economic viability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and production staff, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for internal and client review.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in design, development, and project execution.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and CAE tools for simulation and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, quality control, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME) is highly desirable.
