Responsibility
- Create high-quality 3D models of furniture pieces based on design specifications, sketches, or reference images.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and clients to refine and finalize 3D models.
- Ensure all models are optimized for rendering, manufacturing, and virtual reality applications.
- Apply textures, materials, and lighting to enhance the realism and visual appeal of 3D models.
- Review and adjust models based on feedback to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all 3D assets and project deliverables.
- Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements in 3D modeling and design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D modeling and rendering.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 3D Modeler, preferably in furniture design or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, or SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of polygon modeling, UV mapping, and texturing techniques.
- Ability to interpret 2D drawings, sketches, and reference materials into accurate 3D models.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and proportions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio showcasing previous 3D modeling work, particularly in furniture or product design.
