Responsibility
- Develop and implement legal tax-saving strategies to optimize the companyâs financial position.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns, reports, and financial statements in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and support audits.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, advising management on potential impacts.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with local labor and tax requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax compliance and strategy.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, DJP Online) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN, etc.) and GAAP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industries is advantageous.
