Responsibility
- Conduct thorough financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks by analyzing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial governance.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on audit procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial compliance, preferably in a corporate or public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, GAAP, and IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Experience in internal or external auditing is highly preferred.
