Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve communication, articulation, fluency, and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, psychologists, and educators, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing at home.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment reports in compliance with professional standards.
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about speech and language disorders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or certification as a Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (e.g., ASHA certification or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Speech Therapist, with preference for senior-level candidates.
- Proven experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric, geriatric, and neurologically impaired patients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with standardized assessment tools and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia, and adapt to a multicultural work setting.
