Responsibility
- Lead the demand planning process by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business goals.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, reducing excess stock while ensuring product availability.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and lead times.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine demand planning processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven expertise in forecasting tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, inventory optimization, and supply chain best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
