Responsibility
- Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations for the Australian market, including inbound/outbound shipments, warehousing, and last-mile delivery
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure service quality and cost efficiency
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve delivery speed, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Sales, Customer Service) to align logistics with business objectives
- Ensure compliance with Australian customs regulations, import/export laws, and industry standards
- Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per shipment, inventory accuracy) and report performance to senior management
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or 3PL management, with at least 2 years in a senior/specialist role
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics processes in the Australian market (experience with e-commerce or furniture logistics is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Australian logistics regulations, customs procedures, and import/export requirements
- Experience with logistics software (WMS, TMS, ERP systems) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable
