Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, including RFI, RFP, and contract negotiations for direct and indirect categories.
- Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and reliable supply chains.
- Identify and assess new suppliers while evaluating existing ones for performance, compliance, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Legal) to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives and track savings through data analysis and market intelligence.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.
- Monitor supply market trends and leverage insights to drive competitive advantage.
- Prepare and present sourcing reports and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in Manufacturing, Transport, or Logistics.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships at a senior level.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English (written and verbal).
- Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CIPS are highly advantageous.
- Deep understanding of global sourcing best practices, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
