Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance for raw materials, components, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D, production, and logistics teams, to align sourcing strategies with business goals and project requirements.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay ahead of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies.
- Monitor supplier performance, including delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost efficiency, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering projects to enhance profitability without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or energy sector.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct market research, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software tools.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
