Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing and logistics operations to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of production and warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale.
- Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Enforce strict adherence to quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, sales, maintenance) to align operations with business goals.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports, KPIs, and budgets to support data-driven decision-making.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate critical concerns to senior management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, food processing, or logistics, preferably in the seafood or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, and leading teams in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TQM principles is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, FDA) and local/regional labor laws.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as required by operational demands.
