Responsibility
- Coordinate and optimize daily transportation schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel efficiency, and maintenance to minimize downtime and costs.
- Liaise with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve logistical challenges and improve service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and vehicle utilization using logistics software.
- Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Prepare reports and analytics on key performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery rates, cost per mile).
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for transportation operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transport coordination, fleet management, or logistics operations.
- Proficient in logistics software (e.g., TMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations, route planning, and vehicle maintenance best practices.
