Responsibility
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, obstetric, and gynecological scans, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Interpret and analyze sonographic images, providing accurate and detailed reports for physicians to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process, maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to discuss findings and recommend further diagnostic procedures when necessary.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonography technology, techniques, and best practices through continuous education and training.
- Uphold strict compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and healthcare regulations.
- Train and mentor junior sonographers and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Sonography, or a related field. Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sonographer, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven expertise in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including Doppler, 3D/4D, and specialized scans.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology to ensure accurate image interpretation.
- Proficiency in using advanced ultrasound equipment and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical professionals.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Indonesian Medical Council or relevant local regulatory body.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
