Responsibility
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Support mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort under the guidance of medical staff.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, vital signs, or behavioral concerns to nurses or doctors.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a trusting and caring relationship.
- Maintain clean and sanitary patient environments, including bed linens, equipment, and personal spaces.
- Assist with basic medical tasks such as taking temperatures, blood pressure, or helping with wound care as trained.
- Document patient interactions and care activities accurately in electronic or paper records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans and adapt to patient needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare support (e.g., CNA, HHA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related healthcare role (1+ years preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving, or supporting patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented with a commitment to ethical care standards.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays, in a hospital setting.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is advantageous.
