Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support AIA’s digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI/ML, microservices, and serverless computing, to enhance system efficiency.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and best practices for enterprise-wide adoption.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and security protocols.
- Optimize existing systems for performance, cost, and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Act as a subject matter expert in cloud solutions, participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with a focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud solutions, including microservices, APIs, and data architectures.
- Strong expertise in cloud security, compliance, and governance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, or local regulations).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with AI/ML, big data, and analytics platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
