Responsibility
- Lead AI/ML Development: Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of scalable machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to solve complex business challenges.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of AI engineers, fostering collaboration, technical growth, and best practices in software development and data science.
- Automation & Optimization: Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Data Engineering: Build and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring high-quality, accessible data for AI/ML applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create comprehensive technical documentation and conduct training sessions to ensure smooth knowledge transfer across teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the performance and scalability of AI models in production.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching emerging AI/ML technologies and proposing innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: In Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Data Engineering Skills: Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Leadership Abilities: Strong mentorship, project management, and team collaboration skills.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop scalable, AI-driven solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with energy sector applications of AI (a plus).
