Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies, plans, and cases that ensure software quality and performance.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to identify defects and ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into the deployment process to enable faster, more reliable releases.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing, automation, and quality assurance across the team.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in QA automation, fintech, and software development to drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) to align testing efforts with project goals and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on QA automation for web, mobile, or API applications.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright, and scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL).
- Experience working in agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Prior experience in fintech or financial services is a plus.
