Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and execution of complex test strategies for software products, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, and operations) to identify quality gaps and implement robust solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze system performance metrics and drive initiatives to improve scalability, stability, and user experience.
- Participate in design reviews and provide actionable feedback to ensure quality is embedded from the outset.
- Investigate and resolve complex software defects, working closely with developers to implement fixes and prevent recurrence.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software quality engineering to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with a focus on test automation and system reliability.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and security testing is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify root causes of issues.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
