Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure in data centres.
- Provide support for network hardware, including switches, routers, and servers.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of data centre equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of data centre operations.
- Document all maintenance activities and provide detailed reports.
- Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of data centre upgrades and expansions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data centre cabling and hardware support.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
