Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for trading connectivity, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
- Optimize and scale real-time data processing pipelines to handle high-frequency trading workloads.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, and infrastructure teams to integrate and enhance connectivity solutions.
- Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to ensure system reliability.
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for seamless integration with external trading platforms and exchanges.
- Conduct performance profiling and tuning to minimize latency and maximize efficiency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in fintech, low-latency systems, and distributed computing to drive innovation.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices in software engineering.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on high-performance or low-latency systems.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python (experience with Go or Rust is a plus).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and multithreading.
- Experience with real-time data processing, messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and network protocols.
- Familiarity with financial markets, trading systems, or FIX protocol is highly desirable.
- Expertise in performance optimization, benchmarking, and profiling tools.
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
