Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain ROS 2 and RMF (Robot Middleware Framework) applications for autonomous robotic systems.
- Implement real-time path planning, task allocation, and fleet coordination algorithms for multi-robot environments.
- Integrate and optimize sensor fusion, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), and perception stacks for robust navigation.
- Collaborate with hardware and embedded systems teams to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
- Develop and deploy scalable, modular software architectures for industrial and commercial robotic applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++/Python code adhering to best practices.
- Conduct performance testing, debugging, and optimization of robotic systems in simulated and real-world scenarios.
- Contribute to open-source ROS/RMF communities and stay updated with emerging trends in robotics.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in software development for robotics or autonomous systems.
- Strong proficiency in ROS 2 (Robot Operating System) and experience with RMF (Robot Middleware Framework).
- Expertise in C++ and Python with a focus on performance-critical applications.
- Hands-on experience with SLAM, navigation stacks (e.g., Nav2), and sensor integration (LiDAR, cameras, IMU).
- Familiarity with real-time systems, multi-threading, and distributed computing.
- Experience with Docker, Linux, and cloud-based deployment (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
