Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance mobile applications for Googleâs business payment solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences across Android and iOS platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to define technical requirements and deliver innovative features for business users.
- Optimize payment processing systems for speed, security, and reliability, reducing latency and enhancing transaction success rates.
- Implement robust security measures, including encryption, authentication, and fraud detection, to protect sensitive financial data.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Kotlin, Swift, or Dart (Flutter), adhering to Googleâs engineering best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.
- Monitor app performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in mobile payments, fintech, and emerging technologies to propose and prototype new solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on mobile app development (Android, iOS, or cross-platform).
- Proficient in Kotlin, Swift, or Dart (Flutter), with a strong portfolio of published apps or contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with payment systems, fintech, or e-commerce platforms, including integration with APIs (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or Google Pay).
- Deep understanding of mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture) and design patterns for scalable applications.
- Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase) and cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
