Responsibility
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for trading workstations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a high-stakes trading environment.
- Install, configure, and maintain trading applications and peripherals.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage software licenses.
- Assist in onboarding new users and setting up their workstations.
- Document support processes and contribute to knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer in HFT or Hedge Fund environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and trading platforms.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, VPNs, and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL are a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support trading operations.
