Responsibility
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, including desktop/laptop issues, printer malfunctions, and connectivity errors.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Document and track support requests using ticketing systems, ensuring accurate and detailed records of all incidents and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams when necessary, following established protocols.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices, software applications, and security awareness.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and accessories, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT processes, tools, and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role (internships or academic projects are a plus).
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and network connectivity issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
