Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts to ensure robust software quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement QA strategies and best practices.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing to streamline release cycles.
- Conduct performance, security, and usability testing to ensure comprehensive product quality.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in QA automation to continuously enhance testing capabilities.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and QA processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, and scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with remote teams.
- Certifications in QA or automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
