Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and therapeutic support to individuals and families affected by mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and access to community resources, including housing, employment, and social services.
- Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational workshops to promote mental wellness and recovery.
- Maintain accurate case records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting interventions as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in outreach programs to raise awareness about mental health and reduce stigma in the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (licensure preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in mental health social work, with a focus on recovery-oriented practices.
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills to build trust with diverse client populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with case management software and documentation standards.
- Commitment to cultural competency and trauma-informed care.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
