Responsibility
- Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) equipment at client sites.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and performance validation to ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on IVD systems, minimizing downtime for critical laboratory operations.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals, including training on equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports in compliance with ISO and GMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on emerging IVD technologies and industry best practices through continuous learning.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures during all service activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer in the IVD or medical diagnostics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of IVD instruments (e.g., hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, immunoassay systems).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
- Certification in IVD equipment servicing (e.g., from Siemens, Roche, Abbott, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, CE) is advantageous.
