Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project schedules and propose effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action plans.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with clients and project managers to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on building projects.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Indonesia is a plus.
