Responsibility
- Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to gather, document, and validate technical requirements for signaling system upgrades.
- Design and develop signaling system architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., EN 50126, CENELEC).
- Lead the testing and commissioning of new signaling solutions, including factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
- Perform risk assessments and failure mode analysis to mitigate operational disruptions.
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Monitor system performance post-deployment and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in rail signaling (e.g., CBTC, ETCS) and recommend innovations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in rail signaling systems, preferably in design, testing, or maintenance.
- Proven expertise with signaling standards (e.g., ERTMS, PTC, or local rail regulations).
- Strong proficiency in requirements analysis, system modeling (e.g., UML, SysML), and validation techniques.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Primavera) and PLM software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings.
