If you are passionate about solving complex signal integrity challenges and want to advance your career in a forward-thinking company, we invite you to apply and become a driving force in TechTieraâs mission to redefine electronic design.
Responsibility
- Lead the analysis, simulation, and validation of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) for high-speed digital and mixed-signal PCB designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance targets.
- Perform pre-layout and post-layout simulations using tools such as ANSYS HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS, or Mentor HyperLynx to identify and mitigate SI/PI issues (e.g., crosstalk, reflections, IR drop, PDN noise).
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define stack-up, routing constraints, and decoupling strategies for optimal signal and power delivery in high-density PCB designs.
- Develop and implement SI/PI design guidelines, best practices, and validation methodologies to improve product reliability and reduce design iterations.
- Work closely with firmware and validation teams to correlate simulation results with lab measurements, troubleshoot anomalies, and drive root-cause analysis for SI/PI-related failures.
- Support the bring-up and debugging of prototypes, including high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, USB, SerDes) and power delivery networks (PDN) for complex systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in SI/PI tools and methodologies to continuously enhance design processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in SI/PI design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) engineering, with a proven track record in high-speed digital design.
- Proficiency in SI/PI simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS, or Mentor HyperLynx.
- Strong understanding of high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR3/4/5, PCIe, USB 3.0+, SerDes) and their SI/PI challenges.
- Experience with PCB stack-up design, transmission line theory, impedance control, and power delivery network (PDN) optimization.
- Familiarity with lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs) for SI/PI validation and debugging.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex SI/PI issues using both simulation and empirical data.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Tcl) for automation and data analysis is a plus.
